Geology students get HAZWOPER certified

Wayne State students successfully complete their HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) Certification course earlier this semester.

The experience culminated with a live-action "spill drill" where two sets of teams participated in a faux chemical spill to put their skills and knowledge to the test. We are happy to report that all eleven students who registered this year were passed with flying colors!
