Environmental science student inducted into honors society

Rebecca Jackson has been inducted into the David Mackenzie Honor Society. This honor society was founded in 1981 through a merger of Karyatides, the former women's honor society, and the Mackenzie Honor Society.

This society is one of the most prestigious groups at Wayne State University and honors students who have demonstrated exceptional campus leadership and service to the university. Membership into this honor society is given to outstanding students whose service to the university has contributed to its institutional welfare and development.

As a recent graduate in environmental science, Rebecca Jackson has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the WSU Geology Club over the past year in addition to proving herself to be an exemplary scholar.
