Charles Barker authors second Great Lakes book for children

Under Michigan is a new book for elementary school children written and illustrated by Charles Barker (Wayne State University Department of Geology part-time faculty member) and published by Wayne State University Press. Michigan's geology (particularly in the Lower Peninsula) is often underappreciated because of its lack of outcrop and surface expression.
