WSU Another Chance Program receives $5,000 award for outstanding performance
The Wayne State University Another Chance program has received a 2012-2013 Incentive Award from the State of Michigan's Workforce Development Agency. The award is in the amount of $5,000 and was given for outstanding performance in 2012-2013.
The Another Chance Program is an adult education program that prepares non-traditional learners to successfully pass the GED examination. The director of the program is Daphne W. Ntiri, Ph.D. Dr. Ntiri is an associate professor in the Department of Africana Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
