Professor Daphne W. Ntiri Profiled in the Detroit Free Press

The work of WSU Professor, Daphne W. Ntiri, Africana Studies, will be featured in a special edition of the Detroit Free Press, Sunday, October 2, 2011. This supplement is the product of Reading Works, a collaboration of the Detroit Free Press & WXYZ Channel 7 and will put the spotlight on stories of adult learners and reading challenges from Another Chance, a WSU program she has administered since 2009.

Dr. Ntiri has spent the last twenty years heightening literacy awareness and transforming the Detroit workforce through GED completion and post-secondary pursuits.
