Physics Professor Peter Hoffmann part of WSU team that receives NSF grant

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is proud to announce that Professor of Physics and CLAS Associate Dean Dr. Peter Hoffman is a Co-PI on a Wayne State grant that has received $750,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation.

The grant will allow the team of WSU researchers to acquire, as they say in their abstract, "a dual beam focus ion beam (FIB) system, which will permit synergistic opportunities for nanotechnology, biomedical and energy research at Wayne State University."
