Biology students highlight research in elevator pitch videos
When students in Donna Kashian's Aquatic Ecology lab couldn't be together due to quarantine, they found a creative way to battle their low morale.
Kashian challenged them to show off their research in one-minute science videos.
Our lab is having fun on lock down- I tasked everybody to do a Sci Com project to simply film a 1min bit on their research (an elevator talk)-how they would explain their science to the public. https://t.co/VZ2yP0EzAy @benthicbuddy @WSUBioSci @WayneStateCLAS @anna_boeg @ckrabb

In the spirit of being more participatory this year...I tried to put some extra effort into my 1 minute video #scicomm thing about my #microplastics research. I hope I explained everything clear, yall know that's not my forte. Lol.
