The event brought together over 40 recruiters representing local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as organizations in corporate security, social services, and technology. Students from Wayne State and surrounding community colleges attended, along with dual enrollment students from Trenton High School and the School at Marygrove. High school participants engaged in tailored activities and received a campus tour.

The fair featured one-on-one conversations with recruiters, free professional headshots, an ice cream social, and therapy dog visits from STELLA Labs. Students who met with at least three recruiters were entered into a raffle for gift card prizes.

The event was supported by sponsors including the Detroit Police Department, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).

Organizers called the fair a success and plan to expand on its offerings in the coming year.
