Biological sciences faculty and student ride a century
Dr. Lori Pile, Dr. Markus Friedrich, and recent M.S. graduate Jasmina Kulacic represented Wayne State University’s Department of Biological Sciences in the inaugural Baroudeur cycling event on Saturday, Aug. 22.
The group completed the 62-mile metric century course, which started at Wayne State and took more than 700 riders through Detroit neighborhoods, including Midtown, Belle Isle, and Corktown. Proceeds from the event, raised through participant fees and donations, will support student scholarships at Wayne State.
