Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association (BSGSA)
The BSGSA enhances the experience of graduate students as they progress through their program in the Department of Biological Sciences.
Biology First-Year Interest Group
Designed to bring together students with similar interests or academic goals, First-Year Interest Groups (FIGs) utilize block scheduling to create learning communities and simplify registration to two clicks. As part of First-Year Student Orientation, students will be invited to sign up for a FIG based on their interests and placement.

Detroit Biodiversity Network
Detroit Biodiversity Network is an organization dedicated to planting native plant species around Wayne State’s campus and educating students. Our goal is to provide students with hands-on experience creating and working in green spaces in an urban setting. In addition to native plants, we also work with house plants and urban produce.
