Professors Arking and Myhr named National Academies Education Fellows in the Life Sciences

Biological Sciences Professors Bob Arking and Karen Myhr have been named National Academies Education Fellows in the Life Sciences for the 2011-12 academic year.

They received this honor for their participation in the National Academies Northstar Summer Institute on Undergraduate Education in Biology last summer.

Dr. Myhr has also been named a BEN Scholar by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. BEN Scholars are selected to use and contribute to the BioSciEdNet (BEN), a AAAS initiative which contains links to more than 11,000 peer-reviewed resources in digital libraries.
