Ph.D. student awarded a predoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association

Zhuqing Liang, Ph.D. student in Miriam Greenberg's laboratory, was awarded a 2-year predoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association for her research project titled "Frataxin deficiency in cardiolipin-deficient cells leads to defective Fe-S biogenesis."

Zhuqing's proposal received an outstanding percentile ranking of 0.12 percent! The review of her application commends Zhuqing for her independence, accomplishments, motivation, and intellectual strength.
