Biology majors awarded UROP funding for 2016-2017

Lauren MacConnachie (Gu lab) was awarded funding for her project titled "Role of Polyproline Sequences in ND10 Fusion". Jacob Wilson (Beningo lab) was awarded funding for his project titled "Characterizing PAKI Kinase in the regulation of invadopodia in mechanically stimulated invasive cancer cells."

Wilson's project was selected for an oral presentation and MacConnachie as a poster at the annual UROP Research Day held on Nov. 11.
