Biology major and senior cross country runner receives Athletics Deans' Award

At the 2012-2013 Athletics Academic Recognition luncheon, Samantha Kaufman received the Athletics Deans' Award for having the highest cumulative grade-point average among all student-athletes in CLAS.
She was also named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Samantha is a Senior cross country runner from Lake Orion, Michigan. She is majoring in biological sciences with honors. Samantha was also named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5+) for fall 2009 (4.00), winter 2010 (4.00), fall 2010 (4.00), winter 2011 (4.00), fall 2011 (4.00), winter 2012 (4.00) and fall 2012 (4.00). She has a 4.00 cumulative GPA.
She has also joined Wayne State's inaugural women's track and field team.
