Charles Bell successfully defends dissertation

Congratulations to Charles Bell, sociology doctoral candidate, for successfully defending his dissertation.

Bell's work, titled "Speaking Through My Tears: A Critical Exploration of Black Students' and Parents' Perceptions of School Discipline" was defended on March 1, 2018.

Bell's dissertation committee included Wayne State University sociology professors Dr. David Merolla, Dr. R. Khari Brown, Dr. Krista Brumley; as well as criminal justice professor Dr. Charles F. Klahm.
