Wayne State grad programs ranked among nation's best

More than a dozen graduate programs offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences were ranked among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report's 2023 Best Graduate Schools list.

Graduate programs in audiology, speech-language pathology, chemistry, English, history, psychology, sociology and public administration, all rank in the top 100.

U.S. News based its rankings on expert opinions and statistics that measure the quality of the school's faculty, research and students, it said in a news release.

The list below reflects some of Wayne State's 2023 ranked graduate programs. Several programs were tied with other institutions.

Located in the heart of Midtown Detroit, Wayne State is a premier urban research institution, with more than 250 graduate programs in 13 schools and colleges at the master's and doctoral levels.
