Tuition discount makes study abroad more affordable for eligible students

Make this summer one for the books by applying to study abroad in one of three faculty-led trips that still have a few slots available. The university's Spring/Summer Tuition Break allows undergrads to qualify for a 30% tuition discount toward spring/summer classes, including study abroad.

Applications are being accepted by the Office of Study Abroad and Global Programs for trips to Poland (May 9 through 24), Central Europe (July 2 through 15) and Italy (July 13 through Aug. 10).

The faculty-led trips provide students the opportunity to study and gain global perspectives on business, languages and other cultures. Travel details and pricing vary, so learn more online:

  • A Survey of Polish Culture, May 9 through 24
  • Central Europe: Global Business Experience, July 2 through 15
  • Italy: Wayne in Abruzzo, July 13 to Aug. 10
  • To be eligible for the tuition discount, students must be on track to complete 24 credits between fall 2016 and winter 2017 and have a cumulate grade-point average of at least 2.5 at the end of fall 2016.
