Apply for scholarships by March 1

The deadline for scholarships through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is approaching. All applications must be submitted by Mar. 1, 2021, to be eligible to receive any scholarships. Any recommendation letters that may be requested must be submitted by Mar. 1, 2021, and all Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted before Mar. 1, 2021.

Funded by several generous donors, CLAS scholarships aim to recognize academic achievement and encourage students to continue to excel in their studies. These scholarships will be used towards tuition, and some will be put toward other educational-related expenses.

Students can submit the Wayne State scholarship application where a list of available scholarships will appear. Students enrolled in the fall or winter semester during a subsequent school year are eligible to receive these scholarships. Students graduating in May or August of the same school year as the application may not qualify for these awards.

Applicants should expect to be notified regarding the scholarships they applied for regardless by Jun. 1, 2021, and a response will be automatically sent from the application website.
