Student visits Germany for mathematics and music

Undergraduate mathematics major, Joseph Willard, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany.

Joseph took mathematics courses at the university while improving his German language skills through immersion in the surrounding culture. In addition to studying mathematics, Joseph also continued his music studies. He studied with world-renowned bassists and performed with various orchestras in the area.
