Students give conference presentations across the nation

M.A. student Valeria Petukhova presented a paper "Analysis of Russian negative adjectival derivation ne- and bez-" at the Ninth Graduate Colloquium on Slavic Linguistics at Ohio State University In October 2011.

M.A. student Hayat Ferzouz gave a paper "Reflexivization in Twi" at the 34th Annual Conference on African Linguistics at Tulane University in New Orleans in March 2012.

B.A. student Sophia Henry gave a paper "Live by the drum: exploring linguistic expressions of pan-Indian ethnic identity in music" at the Undergraduate Conference on Language Variation and Language Contact at the University of Michigan in March 2012.
