Bachelor of Arts in Polish (Slavic Studies)

Given the sizable Polish-American community and its success in America, knowledge of Polish language, culture, and history can be a very valuable asset when seeking a job or advancing your career.

Many Poles called Detroit home when they first immigrated to the U.S., and until recently, there was a constant influx of Polish immigrants to the Metropolitan area. They established a network of local Polish cultural and political organizations including schools, dance ensembles, fraternity and sports organizations, credit unions – and the list could go on.
