Leah Warren presents at the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Conference

History major and pre-med student, Leah Warren, presented her research on the History of the Great Potato Famine on Irish Public Health.

With financial support from WSU's Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program and the History Department's Sterne-Lion Award, Warren traveled to Dublin and London where she researched the social history of medicine surrounding the famine at the National Archives of Ireland, the National Library of Ireland, and the National Archives in Kew.
