Join the Justice and Society Learning Community for fall 2017
The Justice and Society Learning Community is designed to foster a significant social network between students in the course and create a connection with faculty, the department, the university, and the larger community.
To this end, learning community designated courses in CRJ expose students to a variety of cultural elements that might not be offered in traditional courses. Moreover, each year the learning community coordinators try to include a service-learning component.
For the past two years, we have partnered with buildOn to volunteer our services to one of the many Detroit organizations they work with and host a potluck luncheon for all the volunteers.
