PHY 3100 Sounds of Music

This laboratory manual has been written to match the equipment and requirements of the musical acoustics course at Wayne State University.  This laboratory class is accompanied by three hours of lecture per week.  All of the topics covered in this laboratory are related closely to material covered in the lectures.  Inexpensive calculators are generally useful during the laboratory sessions and when you are completing your laboratory write-up.
Each exercise has an Introduction followed by a Procedure.  There are questions to be answered by the student in the lab write-ups.  Sometimes these questions are placed in a separate section or interspersed within the Procedure.
