Wayne State Wednesday Farmers Market
The Wayne State Farmers Market got its start with two pilot days in fall 2008. In its first full season the following year, the market registered to accept food stamps (SNAP), WIC Project FRESH, and Senior Project FRESH nutrition programs. The market offers a range of affordable fresh and prepared foods and serves those who live or work on campus or elsewhere in midtown and nearby neighborhoods. The market is operated with the help of several campus and community partners. For more details about the market since 2008, browse archives of SEEDLING newsletters.

Don't shop every week? Keep a bag in your office for when the impulse strikes!
Have extra tote bags languishing at home? Drop them off at the SEED Wayne tent. We will distribute them to shoppers for free. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle plastic bags at your farmers market!
