The Department of Geology offers an M.S. Geology degree consisting of 24 credits of graduate coursework and 8 credits of thesis research. Research may be conducted in traditional geologic subject areas (e.g., Stratigraphy, Sedimentology, Geomorphology, Petrology, Economic Geology) or environmental applications (e.g., Hydrogeology, Isotope Geochemistry, Soils and Soil Pollution).
