Each year the senior class of the Masters of Urban Planning program completes a major planning project which is called the capstone project. A list of recent projects is given below.

Master of Urban Planning Capstone Project - 2014

In 2014, the Capstone Project Seminar class offered planning analysis and recommendations for three projects in Hazel Park. They included the John R Corridor Plan, 9 Mile Roadway Plan, and the Hazel Park Raceway Plan. The Capstone Project Seminar is a culmination of the MUP curriculum. 15 students participated in the Seminar.
